Typical Berlin food. “The fat angel” is situated in a nice surrounding with serveral bars and restaurants.
Just opposite at the restaurant “Lichtblick” where they offer very good cocktails.
“Brauhaus Spandau” Metro Station: Zitadelle Spandau U7
Typical German / Bavarian Food and very good beer.
It is a bit out of the center, the trip will take you about 30min, but it is worth it and perfect to combine with a visit at the “Zitadelle” an old fortress.
You will find various flyer of restaurants in the neighberhood of the appartment at the door of our flat.
In walking distance you will find: a curry house, a steak house, an Asian Restaurant and an Italien Restaurant.
Beside these Restaurants the area offers snack bars like Döner House or Curry Wurst Shops.
About 15 min by feet (1,3km) or 1 Metro station away from the appartment you will find our favorite restaurant in the range cost / performance ratio.
Doreedos is basically a Argentinian Steakhouse, but it also offers Mexican food, salats and noddles.
It is situated at "Kurt-Schumacher-Platz" .
Prices and food are fantasic. The big terrace lot of space. Reservation is only necessary if you plan to come with more than 3 people or Saturday evening.
!Be aware! This place lays definitily within the entry lane of Tegel Airport :-)
Outsite places are noisly, but it is cool to see airplanes close enough to touch. Spectacular!
The same idea as Doreedos, but situated in the center "Adenauer Platz" near to Kurfürstendamm.
Here you can start your day with a breakfast or brunch buffet (on Sundays and public holidays) or let it end with a cocktail during the daily happy hour. Juicy steaks, fresh fish and delicious spare ribs complete the offer.
